Assignments Management

Create new assignments

Note Currently, you can only create Review form assignments on this page. Additional assignment types (Write, Review item, Translate, Validate) will be available on this page in a future release.

Project managers can create assignments for other users on this page, such as Review form assignments for SMEs who are assigned to preview specific exam forms and generate result files that are sent back to ExamDeveloper. In a future release, additional assignments such as Writing and Reviewing can also be managed from this page.

Add a new "Review form" assignment

Note Users must have the Take Exam permission (granted in ExamDeveloper on Manage > Users > Assign Roles) in order to be given a "Review form" assignment.

  1. On the Assignment management page, click Assignment Type in the upper-right corner and select Review form.
  2. A list of all users with the "Take Exam" permission is displayed. Select one or more users from this list.
    1. If needed, you can search by name or ExamDeveloper username.
    2. The Assignments column shows the users' total number of assignments, regardless of assignment type or status. You can click View to see all assignments for the user. (Currently, only Review form assignments are shown but the user may have other assignments such as Write or Review).
  3. Click Create new assignment.
  4. Confirm the list of users, make changes if needed, and click Next.
  5. Select one or more exam forms from the list.
    1. Search by exam or form name if needed.
  6. To set a due date for the assignment:
    1. Click Set in the Due Date column.
    2. Select or input a date (MM/DD/YYYY format).
    3. Click Save.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Review the assignment summary and click Submit.
  9. The assignment is now added to the user's Assignments page.
    1. Note Email notifications can be configured at the project level to alert users of new assignments.

Note:  If you make changes to a form that has any reviews in progress, your changes won't be reflected in the reviewers' current sessions. If you want in-progress reviews to reflect your changes, you must ask the assigned reviewers to complete a new session for the form (they must end their current session first).
